Who We Are

The Children's Christian Concern Society partners with Lutheran pastors and teachers in 25 countries to provide Christian education. Each site selects the form of education that best meets their needs: scholarships, teacher stipends, afterschool programs, preschools, English as a second language, or vacation Bible schools. Today, over 241 CCCS project sites bring life changing opportunities to more than 25,000 children, many of whom would not otherwise receive an education.

Necessary academic skills help them to escape poverty and become successful adults. Learning about Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection for the sins of all provides hope for this life and the next. Many children share their faith with siblings and parents as entire households come to faith. Regardless of their chosen vocation, CCCS students contribute to their families, communities, churches and countries in miraculous ways!
